Lambeth’s Living Well Network Alliance publishes 5th annual progress report on collaboration in mental health
The Living Well Network Alliance is pleased to publish its latest progress report. Looking back over 2023-24, it showcases the collaborative efforts of partners across public sector, NHS, and charity sector to improve mental health services and outcomes for people in Lambeth. The report provides an overview of the innovative projects aimed at addressing mental health challenges, while also emphasising the importance of community-based solutions.
This year’s report highlights several key projects making an impact on resident’s lives, such as the Primary Care Alliance Network which provides more mental health support, together with GPs. The introduction of the Patient and Carer Race Equality Framework, the first national antiracism framework for mental health. And the evolution of our award winning Culturally Appropriate Peer Support and Advocacy service, to highlight inequalities and implement change.
Lorraine Gordon, Interim Living Well Network Alliance Director said: “The Living Well Network Alliance are committed to continuing our work in addressing health inequalities in Lambeth and ensuring that those with mental health challenges receive the care and support they deserve.
“There is clear opportunity for co-production with our communities to improve access, experience, and outcomes for racialised and marginalised groups. And the insights and outcomes in this year’s report help us reflect on how we can deliver a more inclusive and effective mental health system for Lambeth residents.”
