Kooth digital mental health support for young people in Lambeth
Kooth.com is an online counselling service which gives children and young people across south east London access to free, anonymous mental health and emotional well-being.
It is an anonymous, confidential and personalised mental health support service for children and young people aged 10-25 years. Access is free and easy – with no waiting times or referrals.
Kooth offers a variety of support services
Kooth.com offers:
- access to self-help materials, including an online magazine
- mood-tracking and goal setting tools
- counsellor messaging
- peer-to-peer support through moderated online forums
The forums address issues ranging from exam stress and depression to self-harm and relationship problems, self worth and school/college issues.
Support is available every day of the year
Kooth is available 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. If you or someone you know needs extra mental wellbeing support during the holiday season, Kooth are there.
Qualified counsellors are available to support any child or young person in one-to-one sessions via drop-in or pre-arranged online chat sessions everyday:
- from 12 noon until 10pm on weekdays
- from 6pm until 10pm on weekends and holidays
Young people can log on to Kooth.com from any connected device, wherever they are.
