  1. We’re very proud of Lambeth’s Dr Jacqui Dyer MBE and Black Thrive Lambeth’s role in developing the first anti racism framework for mental health trusts and service providers in the country. The Patient and Carer Race Equality Framework (or PCREF) was published by NHS England on 30 October, and will support mental health services to embed anti-racism within their organisations.

  2. Lambeth marks World Mental Health Day with a free event from Healthwatch and free suicide awareness training.

World Mental Health Day takes place on 10 October every year. National and local organisations and groups organise events and activities either on the day or in the days surrounding it, putting a spotlight on the importance of mental health, support available for people and things people can do to protect their mental health.

  3. Local people can take part in consultations, surveys, and discussions to influence and support Lambeth’s health and care provision on an innovative online ‘engagement platform’ Let’s Talk Health and Care South East London (letstalkhealthandcareselondon.org).

The Lambeth Together hub is a place to go to see and sign up for opportunities for engagement from different Lambeth Together partners, linked to priorities set out in ‘Our health, Our Lambeth’ Health and Care Plan 2023-2028.
