Chief Executive, Healthwatch Lambeth

Folake is the Chief Executive of Healthwatch Lambeth, where she leads strategic efforts to ensure the voices of the people and communities of Lambeth shape local health and social care services to meet their needs. She is passionate about equality, diversity and inclusion and uses community engagement and information to promote inclusive and equitable services where diverse voices and experiences drive meaningful improvements.

Folake’s past work in community development, involvement and her commitment to building partnerships and advancing coproduction align closely with the Board’s mission.  She provides insights into patients’, families’, and carer’s experiences, amplifying the voices of those who are often less heard.

Folake was previously Director, South East London Healthwatch and has successfully developed and led Healthwatch teams since 2013. Under her leadership, Healthwatch Bromley and Healthwatch Lewisham were recognised by Healthwatch England, for contributions to improving service quality and accountability.
