Cllr Ben Kind

Ben is Cabinet Member for Children and Young People at Lambeth Council. He works for a medical research charity. Before this, he spent 16 years working on campaigns for the voluntary and community sector – covering areas including child protection and public sector funding. Born in Streatham, Ben’s family fostered 100s of children & young people over a 40 year period – many of whom continue as part of his family well into adulthood. First elected in 2014, Ben represents Brixton Rush Common Ward in the centre of Lambeth, where he lives with his family.
