Cllr Jim Dickson

Cabinet Member for Health and Social Care (job-share), Lambeth Council

Jim is Cabinet Member for Health and Social Care at Lambeth Council and Chair of Lambeth’s Health and Wellbeing Board, having previously been the Council’s Cabinet Member for Finance and also its Leader. He began his career working in the homelessness field and worked as senior policy officer at the London Housing Unit, advising public and private sector organisations on housing finance and regeneration issues. He is a member of the Council of Governors of Kings College Hospital and was previously a Governor at the South London and Maudsley Foundation Trust.

Jim was a visiting lecturer in Housing and Politics at the University of Westminster and Director of Public Affairs at Four Communications and holds a Master Degree in Business Administration. Jim has represented Herne Hill Ward on Lambeth Council since 1990.
