Cabinet Member for Healthier Communities (job-share), Lambeth Council

Jim co-chairs Lambeth Together’s Care Partnership Board. He is Joint Cabinet Member for Healthier Communities at Lambeth Council and Chair of Lambeth’s Health and Wellbeing Board, having previously been the Council’s Cabinet Member for Finance and also its Leader. He began his career working in the homelessness field and worked as senior policy officer at the London Housing Unit, advising public and private sector organisations on housing finance and regeneration issues. He is a member of the Council of Governors of King’s College Hospital and was previously a Governor at South London and the Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.

Jim was a visiting lecturer in Housing and Politics at the University of Westminster and Director of Public Affairs at Four Communications. He holds a Master Degree in Business Administration. Jim has represented Herne Hill Ward on Lambeth Council since 1990.
