Dr Bimpe Oki is a consultant in Public Health and has worked in Lambeth for over twenty years. She has specific interest in health improvement, the social determinants of health, and tackling health inequalities, especially through working in partnership with different sectors and communities to jointly address health issues. Bimpe has also been involved in organisational and workforce development. She has been a Public Health practitioner assessor and has delivered lectures at undergraduate, postgraduate and practitioner levels to support the development of the Public Health workforce.
Over the years, Bimpe has provided Public Health leadership at local, regional, and national levels on a range of Public Health issues. She currently leads the coproduction workstream of the Association of Directors of Public Health London (ADPHL) Tackling Racism and Inequalities programme. She is also the healthy weight lead for both South East London and ADPHL.
