Andrew Eyres

Corporate Director of Integrated Health and Care, Lambeth, NHS South East London and Lambeth Council

Andrew is an experienced NHS system leader committed to working in partnership to improve the health of communities and secure high quality care in Lambeth and more widely across south London for over 30 years.  As Corporate Director for Integrated Health and Care for Lambeth Council and for NHS South East London, he is responsible for taking forward the Lambeth Together borough partnership, as part of the South East London Integrated Care System.

Previously Andrew was Accountable Officer, initially for NHS Lambeth Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) from 2013 and then for both Croydon and Lambeth CCGs from 2017, establishing, with partners, innovative new system arrangements through Lambeth Together and the One Croydon Alliance alongside a track record in organisational delivery. Under Andrew’s leadership, NHS Lambeth CCG was rated as outstanding in successive years and Croydon moved out of financial special measures for the first time.

With a professional background in finance, Andrew was Director of Finance of NHS Lambeth Primary Care Trust (PCT) from its establishment in 2002 before taking on the role of PCT Chief Executive Officer.

Andrew has held a wide range of leadership roles on behalf of CCGs across London and within the south-east London health system, including as Chair of the London CCG Chief Officer Group and in key areas of service transformation such as cancer, diabetes, end of life care and child health.
