  1. Are you a Black women living with fibroids and/or endometriosis in Lambeth? Healthwatch Lambeth want to understand how those conditions impact your physical and emotional health, as well as your experience of diagnosis, treatment, support available and self-care. Your feedback is anonymous and will help define what good care looks like and how support and treatment can be improved.

  2. Women and girls across Lambeth are benefiting from a series of outreach initiatives designed to give them the support and information needed to manage their health confidently. The project is part of NHS South East London Women’s and Girls’ Health Programme and focuses on four key areas: heavy menstrual bleeding, contraception, pre-conception and menopause.

  3. Lambeth Council wants to know what you think about the move to Minnie Kidd House Sexual Health clinic from the Streatham Hill site. This will ensure that the services provided meet your needs and expectations.

    Local authorities have the responsibility to ensure open access sexual health services, providing contraceptives, STI testing and treatment, and sexual health advice.

  4. Black heritage women’s sexual, reproductive and family health is in focus this week in Lambeth as the Caribbean and African Health Network hosts a community event at St Mark’s Church in Kennington on Saturday 23 November.

    All women from Black heritage communities are welcome to this event, ‘SHERO – Reclaiming Black Women’s and Family Health’.
