  1. The 40th anniversary of No Smoking Day, a time for us to unite and offer encouragement and support to those on their quitting journey, is swiftly approaching on 13 March.

    Almost every minute of every day someone is admitted to hospital in England with a smoking-related disease and in 2022-23, there were an estimated 400,000 hospital admissions in England due to smoking and one in four hospital patients is a smoker.

  2. On 23rd November 2023, West Norwood Library is hosting a Teen Wellness Fair bringing services, information and activities together under one roof to help inspire, educate and inform the future of Lambeth young people.

    Youth focused organisations come together to support teen wellbeing

    Young people from 13-19 can learn about the many opportunities, services and sources of support available in Lambeth, from arts and drama to sports, looking after their mental health and accessing contraception or sexual health advice.

  3. Stoptober is back for 2023, with a new national campaign to encourage and support smokers to make a quit attempt. There’s a range of support available in Lambeth for smokers seeking to quit.

    Since its inception in 2012, Stoptober has successfully helped 2.5 million smokers to make a quit attempt and has become a well-recognised annual event in the public health calendar.
