The draft Lambeth Together Covid-19 Recovery Plan sets out the priorities and key actions for health and care partners in Lambeth from September 2020 to March 2022. This plan addresses the real and pressing challenges of Covid-19 while also seeking to drive longer term change by improving health and reducing health inequalities within the borough.
NHS leaders have approved plans which will see the transformation of adult acute inpatient mental health wards for Lambeth residents with facilities moved to a new, fit-for-purpose building at the Maudsley Hospital, in Denmark Hill.
The decision was made by the Governing Body of NHS South East London Clinical Commissioning Group (SEL CCG) on 16 July 2020, after considering feedback from a 12-week NHS public consultation.
Working in partnership, Carers’ Hub Lambeth and My Social are currently developing the Lambeth Carers Card scheme. This Carers Week they are launching early access to online resources and information which may be of particular help to unpaid carers.
