  1. Carer’s Hub Lambeth is marking Carer’s Rights Day on Thursday, 21 November, with a special evening event dedicated to supporting and celebrating local carers. This event is designed to provide both practical support and an opportunity for carers to connect with others in a friendly and supportive environment.

  2. Lambeth’s new All Age Autism Strategy 2024 to 2027, sets out seven key priorities to make our borough a better place for autistic people.

    Lambeth Council has set out its new approach to supporting autistic people of all ages and their families, and emphasises on the importance of understanding, acceptance and inclusion and is part of our commitment to becoming a borough of equity and justice.

  3. Over the weekend, we hosted a marquee at the Lambeth Country Show, alongside Active Lambeth, providing information on a range of health and care services for residents. The marquee drew in visitors keen to take advantage of free blood pressure checks and valuable advice from staff across the Borough’s health and care partnership.

  4. Taking place from 10-16 June, Carers Week seeks to ‘put carers on the map’. Lambeth is home to over 18,000 unpaid carers, looking after friends and family members who wouldn’t be able to get by without their support.
