The NHS and partners across south east London are joining over 5,000 community groups across the UK to raise awareness of the true cost of alcohol during this year’s Alcohol Awareness Week, which runs from 3rd to 9th July.
South East London Integrated Care System (or ICS) is encouraging people to get involved in the week by talking about how much alcohol costs us in the form of health problems, financial worries, relationship breakdown and family difficulties.

Vaccinations against mpox (formerly known as monkey pox) are being extended in London following a recent cluster of cases, mainly affecting people who had not received any vaccinations, the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) announced on 16 June.
The mpox outbreak vaccination programme was due to come to a close at the end of July.

With funding from South East London Integrated Care System (ICS), Lambeth Council is overseeing a new funding programme as part of its work to improve health in the borough with other health and care organisations in the Lambeth Together partnership. The Neighbourhood Wellbeing Delivery Alliance (NWDA) Health Inequalities Community Fund is open to applications for programmes of work that will address and tackle health inequalities within Lambeth communities and improve outcomes for all.
