Across London, the Met is continuing to prioritise and respond to domestic abuse calls and are working closely with a range of partners to ensure victims receive the support and service they need. The ongoing focus remains on preventing repeat victimisation and closely managing serious offenders.

Public Health England’s Every Mind Matters platform has launched new advice, focussed on looking after people’s mental wellbeing during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. It has been updated after new data shows over 4 in 5 (84.2%) Brits are worried about the effect that coronavirus is having on their life, with over half (53.1%) saying it was affecting their well-being and nearly half (46.9%) reporting high levels of anxiety.

Throughout the pandemic, Lambeth Together partners, Lambeth Council, Guy’s and St Thomas’s, King’s College Hospital, South East London CCG and others have been working together to change social care services to best support Lambeth people.
Teams from the hospital services at Guy’s and St Thomas’ (GSTT) and King’s College trusts have been brought together with adult social care hospital staff as well as enhancing weekend working capacity in the borough..
