Bringing vaccinations to the local community was a great success with around 230 vaccines being given on the day.
The NHS in south east London teamed up with the South London Islamic Centre to offer COVID-19 vaccinations to community members from all faiths and none in Lambeth, at a new walk-in COVID-19 vaccination clinic held on Saturday 13 March 2021.

“I was apprehensive to have the COVID vaccination initially as I didn’t have enough information. After doing a bit of research & attending a zoom discussion with my local GP in Lambeth I got a better understanding of the vaccination process and also the benefits of taking it.
PrEP is now available for Lambeth residents
PrEP stands for pre-exposure prophylaxis and is a pill you can take to protect you from HIV. If taken correctly it is extremely effective in preventing a person from getting HIV. Lambeth and local authorities around England have received funding to commission PrEP for Q3 and Q4 of 20/21.
