  1. More than 400 residents from across the borough attended the Age Well Festival at the Oval cricket ground on Saturday 5 October 2024, hosted by Lambeth Council’s  Age Friendly team. 

    A key priority for Lambeth Together is to improve health and care to our older residents.

  2. Lambeth Together’s brand new electric Health and Wellbeing Bus hits the streets of Brixton for the first time. The new bus replaces the older diesel bus with updated features and better accessibility and is now good for the planet. 

    The new electric bus will replace our existing diesel lease bus and include all the facilities of the diesel model, plus full wheelchair access, a solar panel on the roof to power equipment and messaging about air quality and sustainability.

  3. Lambeth is one of the first local authorities chosen to pilot health checks in workplaces and online that will protect more than 130,000 people across the country from diseases such as heart disease, kidney disease and diabetes.

    Lambeth secures heart and circulatory system disease prevention pilots

    Lambeth Council has been selected to run two new pilot programmes that aim to cut the risk of diseases of the heart and circulatory system (cardiovascular disease).
