    As the year draws to a close, the Brixton Blood Donor Centre is calling on our community to come together and make a life-changing difference. Blood donations drop during the winter months, yet the need remains constant – and urgent. One hour of your time could save up to three lives, making it one of the most meaningful gifts you can give this festive season.

  2. Working together on HIV prevention and care this World AIDS Day

    This World AIDS Day, Monday 1 December, boroughs across south east London are working together to strengthen the HIV response and help end new HIV cases by 2030.

    By pooling resources and expertise, Lambeth, Southwark, Lewisham, Bexley and Bromley are taking practical steps to make prevention and care more accessible.

  3. Help shape care for Black women with fibroids or endometriosis in Lambeth

    Are you a Black women living with fibroids and/or endometriosis in Lambeth? Healthwatch Lambeth want to understand how those conditions impact your physical and emotional health, as well as your experience of diagnosis, treatment, support available and self-care. Your feedback is anonymous and will help define what good care looks like and how support and treatment can be improved.

  4. Building trust and connecting people with healthcare: Lambeth’s Black Communities Health and Wellbeing Day

    Lambeth’s fourth ‘Inspire’ Black communities health and wellbeing day drew over 450 people to St Mark’s Church in Kennington on Saturday 25 October. This popular event takes place annually during Black History Month, and connects individuals with advice, information and support to take charge of their health, and interact with vital services in a community setting.
