  1. We’re delighted to announce that Dr Di Aitken received runner up under the Care in the Community category at the King’s Health Partners Mind & Body Awards on Wednesday. Dr Di was nominated for her “exemplar passion and advocacy in driving the support of mental health needs in physical health environments, whilst driving several key activities in Lambeth.”

  2. Community health and wellbeing days are taking place across Lambeth this half-term. Running from 12 to 19 February, the local events offer residents an opportunity to access health and wellbeing information and support closer to home.

    Throughout the week, the walk-in events enable individuals and families to speak to professionals regarding their health, wellbeing, and financial support needs.

  3. Leaders of Lambeth’s NHS, council and voluntary and community organisations have recorded a video of their pledge which describes how they will work as the Lambeth Together Care Partnership to improve health and care and reduce health inequalities in the borough.

  4. Additional vaccination clinics are running across Lambeth and South East London this week as part of the plan to offer the Covid-19 booster jab to every adult in England by the end of December.

    From Monday this week people aged 30 and over, along with those aged 16+ in high-risk groups, carers of vulnerable people and health and care staff, can book in to have their life-saving Covid-19 booster jab three months after their second dose using the national booking system, rather than waiting six months as previously.
